Profile: I am an academic/criminologist/social scientist. I've taught, supervised and convened criminology undergraduate and postgraduate subjects in a number of universities in England and Wales since 2009. I enjoy teaching and encouraging students to develop their criminological and sociological imagination! My writings and research expertise lie in and focus on stalking/harassment, interpersonal and gender-based violence, harms, responses, and victimology. Key motto: Be curious. Ask, ask again, Think and then think again and Try, then try and then try again!
Aims of this course:
1) Demonstrate and develop skills of independent study
2) Do research in a topic in Criminology or Sociology
3) Produce and submit a substantial piece of written piece of work (12,000 words)
