This course studies collections of short stories by Spanish women writers dating from the late nineteenth century to the present day. It will consider what the individual writers and stories communicate, but also reflect upon them comparatively. Have the issues they explore evolved over time and have the ways they are addressed in fiction done so? What are the implications of the answers to these questions?
