Welcome to the Moodle page for PR3550, The British in India. The chief item is the Course Outline which includes the weekly lecture schedule along with the readings, the seminar schedule, details of assessment, etc., and which we will be looking at in our first session. There's a Course Forum for you to exchange ideas, jokes and bitter complaints, and in PDF files the extracts from the writings of Britishers in Gujarat which are marked on the Course Outline with an M, along with other materials. There is also a weekly glossary of unfamiliar and Indian words, which you should download as it will help you when taking lecture notes, and too a Course Chronology.
