MU5540, Practical Composition Projects, is taught in term 1 in weekly sessions. The course is led by Mark Bowden and Tonia Ko. In the first half of the term you will compose a short duo in response to a given brief. In the second half you will compose a trio in response to some given technical directions. Both works will be given workshops by professional musicians.
