20-21 PS3000P: Placement

PS3000P is an optional unit, the department's way of making sure that relevant voluntary work experience gained by students is recognized. The aim is also that student's are able to recognize the skills gained during their work experience and able to present them, improving their employability skills.

You need to complete a minimum of 35 hours of voluntary work experience, either advertised on the Psychology Careers and Employability moodle page, or of a similar nature (check with Dr. Krishnan if unsure whether your placement qualifies).

To gain a pass on the course you need to send the completed self-reflective log online and also submit a log signed by your placement supervisor via the submission inbox on this page (BEFORE the end of 25th of March 2021).

Upon approval of the log this course unit will appear on your final transcript.

This year we will award 3 prizes for the best self-reflective logs.
