20-21 PR3870: Global Energy Policy

The course introduces students to the global dimensions of energy policy; discusses shifting agendas; and assesses select aspects of the global energy challenge. It provides student with a global perspective on energy policy, i.e. focuses on energy policy issues of transnational scale. The course is structured around three major clusters, each covering a key aspect of international energy policy: conceptual approaches to global energy; energy as a global security issue; institutions and regimes in global energy; and energy and global policy.
