20-21 GG3161: Atmospheres: Nature, Culture, Politics
Starting from the insight that atmospheres are an increasingly important realm of thinking, working and acting for geographers, this course explores several currents of research and practice in order to apprehend the significance of atmospheres for politics and culture. Extending beyond the social sciences, the course also investigates how artists, scientists, citizens, students and others have approached and studied atmosphere, with implications for geography.
