20-21 MN2425: Managerial Economics
This course uses the tools and techniques of economic analysis to solve common managerial problems. The emphasis of the course is on economic intuition and its relevance to business problems. It encourages greater clarity of thinking amongst potential managers through the use and application of economic principles to strategic situations. We hope that it will enhance the confidence of students to present and support their analyses using objective and well thought out arguments. Whilst the course focuses on the micro level, students should gain a greater appreciation of the constraints faced by decision makers in business, and the economic consequences of their decisions.
