Course Assessment
Full information about the required written work for HS2223 is included in the course document uploaded to MOODLE which I would ask all of you to read. During the course students will produce two essays of 2,500 words each (max.) from a prescribed list, the better of the two will count for 30% of the final mark. The summer 2-hour exam, which will consist of 2 questions, will count for the remaining 70%.
Essay Deadlines
-Essay 1: week commencing Monday 6 November 2017
-Essay 2: week commencing Monday 4 December 2017
Students should endeavour to deliver their essays during the tutorial class falling within the deadline week. Alternatively, essays may be delivered up to and including the Friday of the deadline week, to my office (McCrea 314). Please post the essay under my office door if I am not present. But the latter route will involve a slightly longer turnaround time for marking, as my work responsibilities mean I am not always on the Egham campus Thursdays/Fridays.
