This module focuses on sustainability and professional engineering practice. On sustainable engineering aspect of this module, we will investigate in-depth the concept of how to balance the resources and materials needed for electronic engineering product manufacturing and consumption/use with their corresponding impacts on the environment and society. Specifically, we will explore introduction to sustainable engineering concepts and life cycle assessments and their applications to practical sustainable engineering challenges.

The aspect of the module relating to professional practice and ethics will be taught by my colleague, Dr Anush Yardim.
