20-21 SG3006:Project Research Skills

Welcome to Project Research Skills for March 2021. 

The overall aim of the module is to develop the research, project management, group work and academic study skills of international students from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds. This is a very practical module, which includes undertaking a research project that is linked to your intended Master’s degree. You will manage this project. The topic of the project will be chosen according to both your interests and the research focus of the staff member at Royal Holloway University. Your tutor in the International Study Centre will act as supervisor. The research project shall be discussed during regular online tutorials.

20-21 SG3014: Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership

Welcome to Entrepreneurship, Innovation, & Leadership for March 2021. 

This module introduces you to the creative processes, behaviour and skills that are central to entrepreneurial venture. Entrepreneurship, creativity and leadership skills are important competencies that are required by employers. Students will be able to appreciate the complexity of innovative and leadership processes in the management of business organisations. The module will help students to draw the link between entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership skills. Students will gain an understanding of the nature of entrepreneurs and leadership styles, and identify their own leadership capabilities whilst exploring a business start-up and preparing a business plan.

Welcome to the PMP Economics Moodle page for January 2020/21. 

This module introduces the principles of Microeconomics and macroeconomics. We will discuss how the forces of demand and supply determine prices in the perfectly competitive market and compare this with the behaviour of the monopolist and oligopolistic firm. We will discuss about the importance of achieving economic growth and about the problems of unemployment and inflation.
